Glad Tidings Academy began as Sudbury Christian Day School in 1981. A group of parents who were concerned about their children's education got together with some local pastors to discuss the possibility of opening a private school. After research and a great deal of leg work, the doors of the school were opened. The school has been operating at Glad Tidings Tabernacle for over 10 years and about 8 years ago, the church agreed to enter into a partnership with the school.
